Sure it's fun, but our baseball training camps at Runner Gunner Slugger are equally focused on training the skills players need to excel in the game. We just figured out how to make them engaging. We call them 'Slammer Skillz.' Through our summer baseball camps, players learn how to slide under the tag, dive to make the catch, leap to rob a home run, confidently catch a towering pop fly, flip the ball out of the glove to make the out, and 'do damage' at the plate. They are even assigned 'homework' to understand Dallas youth baseball better, and much more. Much more.

After a long day at baseball training camps, all ballplayers come home exhausted and typically covered in dirt, grass stains, eye black, and maybe even soaking wet from a friendly water sprayer fight (parents are encouraged to bring a towel with them for the car ride home). They've also been known to be colored head-to-toe with slime or powder. But regardless of the mess, they always head home with a huge smile on their face and as better baseball players who appreciate the game even more, thanks to their experiences at Dallas youth baseball and summer baseball camps.
