Every action in baseball has one proper technique - interpreted in many ways. Using a language that young ballplayers can process, progress is made every lesson. Click below to get more information on private lessons.
Sound foundations are built in practice - physically and mentally.
I script out each session to achieve the goals we agreed on in our onboarding meeting. In addition to the basics like Exit Velocity, Launch Angle, Throwing Velocity, Throwing Accuracy, we’ll create pressure situations so that come game time, your ballplayer has the confidence to make the play.
Good hitting is not as easy as just swinging the bat and making contact. I teach all of the components that go into a good at-bat. I also teach players to understand what their job is in the lineup and they execute against that. Good defense is not just catching and throwing a ball. Every player on the field has a responsibility in every play.
There are a lot of peculiar rules - and unwritten rules - in baseball. There's also a ton of history that isn't taught on the field. In addition to lessons, I send ballplayers away with homework. This knowledge further helps create an appreciation and love for the game.
One of the most important aspects of working together is understanding the goals of your ballplayer. At our first session, we will document what your ballplayer wants to accomplish and measure progress along the way. I don't babysit. I expect ballplayers who are working with me that they want to put in the work to improve.

If you’ve been to one of my camps, played on one of my teams, or have been part of 5-Pitch Plucky, you know I want nothing but the best for your ballplayer. My goal is to develop your son or daughter into a complete ballplayer and insert some life lessons along the way. I accomplish this by earning the respect of your ballplayer and always keeping the bigger picture in mind.
Action-packed. Development-rich. Positively fun.
