Your kid is going to love playing 5-Pitch Plucky (regardless of what skill level). It's SO MUCH FUN! We've modified the rules just a bit so that one, 80-minute game gives ballplayers 4X more at-bats than a typical youth baseball game. More at-bats create more balls-in-play and that makes baseball more fun because they're having to make defensive plays. This is a "baseball merry-go-round." We're doing to baseball what Topgolf did to bring more people to golf (but without the alcohol!!).Action-packed. Development-rich. Positively fun.

IT'S SO FRUSTRATING! You know your ballplayer can swing the bat and hit the ball a long way. He does it all of the time in practice but for some reason come game time, everything falls apart. It's tough to see this happen to your child because you just know he's better than that. At this age, the only antidote is getting "game-speed" reps at the plate.
On average, your ballplayer will get 1.4 plate appearances per game (unless they are 1 thru 4 in the batting order). That's not a lot of "game-speed" opportunities so don't blame your ballplayer when they look a little nervous at the plate. Sure BP and cage work helps, but that's not the same as playing in a competitive situation. That's why 5-Pitch Plucky was created - to give ballplayers 4X more plate appearances which result in more confidence at the plate. And we do this in 80 minutes!
is a common phrase that you’ll hear at youth baseball games. It’s not that the kids playing don’t love the game, they just get bored really easily because the game is slow and consists mainly of walks and steals. Very few balls are hit into play which means there’s very little defensive activity. Thus, “baseball ready” becomes the rallying cry for coaches and parents alike who see their little slugger staring off into the distance knowing that a baseball will seldom come their way. 5-Pitch Plucky has changed youth baseball with a game that could be called "revolutionary."
With more plate appearances comes more balls in play. With more balls in play comes defensive chances. 5-Pitch Plucky is a "baseball merry-go-round" that provides lots of reps for all aspects of the game. We've simply modified the rules a bit to amp up the action. As a result, it is a TON OF FUN!
It is a baseball merry-go-round. This one-hour game results in 3X more at-bats, more balls in play, less outs, and less stolen bases than a typical baseball game. And doesn't every kid want more ABs? It makes baseball much more fun! Get the reps you need to be a game changer for your team. Watch this video to see what 5-Pitch Plucky is all about.

All of our events are action-packed, development-rich, and positively fun.
The bulk of the camper’s time will be spent playing a game called the “5-Pitch Plucky” which has been described as a “merry-go-‘round of baseball” that keeps the player’s attention. We promise, no one will be heard yelling, “Baseball ready!”
When Campers aren’t playing “5-Pitch Plucky”, they get to make diving catches onto a thick gymnastics pad, slide into home head first using a sliding mat, play spirited games of Pickle, as well as develop hitting, fielding, and bunting skills.
Participants will wonder how it is already time to leave because they're having so much fun. Here's a quick summary of what they'll do:
- Drop off, National Anthem, warm up, announcements, and Team Talk
- Station Rotation where specific skills are taught
- 5-Pitch Plucky
- Diving Catch, Sliding/Base Stealing, Pickle, Bunting, Hitting, and Fly Ball FUNdamentals
- Scouting Report (ratings on individual traits like effort, hustle, and sportsmanship)
- Homework and clean up
This a fantastically fun event for experienced and casual baseball players that will keep them in the game.
"I had the best time."
"It was so much fun, when can we go again?"
"I'd rather go to this minicamp than any others."
"I got up to bat some many times I lost count."
