IT'S SO FRUSTRATING! You know your ballplayer can swing the bat and hit the ball a long way. He does it all of the time in practice but for some reason come game time, everything falls apart. It's tough to see this happen to your child because you just know he's better than that. At this age, the only antidote is getting "game-speed" reps at the plate.

In a typical baseball game at this age, your ballplayer will only get 1.4 plate appearances over the course of 3 innings that takes around an hour and forty minutes. How do you expect them to improve at that rate? That's not enough "game-speed" opportunities.
