5-Pitch Plucky® events feature baseball played with modified rules and a pitching machine, resulting in four times more at-bats and balls in play compared to a typical baseball game, which creates more exciting action. Watch this short video to catch a glimpse of the fun. While these are kids enjoying the game, it’s worth noting that adult baseball leagues can also benefit from the dynamic nature of this format, similar to what we see in youth baseball camps.

There are no practices involved, as this format is solely focused on game play, perfect for participants in adult baseball leagues and those looking for youth baseball camps.

Partnering with SVAA
This past Spring, we teamed up with the Spring Valley Athletic Association (SVAA) to introduce 5-Pitch Plucky® events for 4th - 8th graders. The kids had such a blast playing that they requested the league to continue these fun events through the Summer of 2025. While we've only seen youth participating so far, it's now time to expand and introduce adult baseball leagues!
Why is it so fun
This game removes the boring part and packs in the action, similar to the excitement found in 5-Pitch Plucky events. Most batters put the ball in play by the third pitch, allowing the defense to spring into action. With no walks and no steals, the focus is on advancing the runner with balls-in-play, making it a thrilling experience reminiscent of adult baseball leagues. It truly is 'baseball on fast forward,' just like the energy you can expect at youth baseball camps.
